Jonathan Majors is set to play Hall of Fame forward Dennis Rodman in an upcoming biopic.
Dennis Rodman who played alongside Michael Jordan and Scott Pippen in the Chicago Bulls was known for his unique nature both on and off the court.
Speaking to AP Entertainment, Jonathan Majors admits the pressure that comes with portraying such a unique character and has expressed a desire to sit down and chat with Rodman himself to ensure accuracy in the portrayal.
Majors who appeared in Creed III are known to take their craft seriously. He has stated that he has never placed a limit on his abilities as an actor. However, he admits that this role will push him to new heights as Rodman is such a full individual and demands a lot.
As a two-time All-Star player, Rodman won two championships with the Pistons and was instrumental in the Bulls’ three-peat as NBA champions with his dominant presence on the glass and defensively.
The upcoming biopic is sure to capture the essence of Rodman’s on-court achievements as well as his colorful personality off the court.
