A lot happened then when he came to Nigeria, part of his purpose of coming was to see to it that his Zuckerberg- Chan $24 million Andela funding was put to good use. He also came to visit his biggest customers Nigeria as well as to survey the Nigeria’s rich tech market.
Zuckerberg’s visit has really remained significant and beneficial to the the Nigerian society as a whole. Apart from being the first African country to be visited by the famous facebook founder, his visit has improved the Nigerian tech society. Parents enrol their kids for this now, students and individuals pay for trainings to become more tech savvy.
