2016 Emmy Award: See The Winners

The 2016 Emmy Awards held yesterday Sunday at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles Sunday with a cameo-filled introduction from Jimmy Kimmel and an important assist from the one and only Jeb!.

RED CARPET

The night was filled with surprises and heartfelt speeches, from Kate McKinnon‘s utter shock upon accepting the award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her work on Saturday Night Live to Julia Louis-Dreyfus‘s tearjerking thank-you to her father, who died mere days ago, while accepting her fifth consecutive Emmy for Veep. Perhaps predictably, the biggest winners were The People v. O.J. Simpson and Game of Thrones, which won 9 and 12 awards, respectively (counting the technical awards announced last week), while Thrones also broke Frasier’s Emmy record with a total of 38 wins throughout its entire run.
