AFRIFF is excited to present two Masterclasses holding at AFRIFF 2015. These masterclasses are open only to registered Industry Delegates and have limited spaces. Selection for the Masterclasses are done at the discretion of the tutors. Producers Masterclass With Mildred Okwo

A Three day class that takes the producer from pre-production to post post-production for a feature film in the Nigerian film industry. Mildred Okwo is Managing Director of The Audrey Silva Company (TASC) and Chief Creative Officer of Mord Pictures Production, a subsidiary of TASC. Described by many as a consummate professional and a Nollywood industry game changer, Mildred produced and directed the acclaimed 2006 film “30 Days” and the 2012 megahit “The Meeting”. These two features have received several critical accolades beyond our African borders. “The Meeting” was one of the top grossing cinema films of 2012 and 2013, and it is currently enjoying phenomenal success in the Nigeria DVD market.

Lights, Camera, Diaspora! bridges the gap between the African and African-Diaspora entertainment industries by connecting Artisans and technicians on the Continent and in the Diaspora to expand the aesthetic quality and opportunities for African Media and live events Christian Epps’ career as a lighting designer has spanned more than two decades covering the range from major motion pictures, broadcast television, live theater, dance, music videos and special events.
Christian’s passion for dramatic lighting has been put to use with notable directors such as Spike Lee, Hype Williams, Ava DuVernay, David Lowery. Ice Cube. Music video; Michael  Jackson, P. Diddy, Biggy Smalls, R. Kelly, Whitney Houston, Queen Latifah, TLC, Boyz II Men, and  many more.
