“A head on collision between a bus and a cargo truck in the Ghanaian city of Kumasi has resulted in the deaths of 71 people.

A police chief disclosed that the Tamale bound bus rammed into a truck carrying tomatoes in Kumasi with almost all passengers dying on the spot. 13 people are also reportedly injured.

An investigation is ongoing into the cause of the accident.
