Today, TY Bello nee Sokefun, a celebrated Photographer, singer and mother to the most beautiful twins… turns 38 and we wish her a happy, happy birthday!!!
She started out as a child who loved the arts and has even delved into painting at some point in her life and later ran a salon when she was just 15 years old… Super!!! Don’t you think.
TY Bello was born in Ogun State. She attained a degree in economics from the University of Lagos. She briefly practiced journalism and eventually ventured into photography. Aside from music, TY Bello is the official photographer to the Former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Ebele Goodluck Jonathan; she also does work for Thisday style.
TY Bello was part of a Gospel band called Kush but they broke up after their only album. She continues to sing powerful gospel songs and has three albums – Greenland, The Future and the Morning Songbook- to her credit..
