The Nigerian male under-17 football team, the Golden Eaglets early Friday morning mauled their Mexican opponents, 4-2, to set up an all African final against Mali in the ongoing FIFA U-17 world cup in Chile.
Mexico opened the scoring through Kevin Magana, with stunning efforts from Kelechi Nwakali and Orji Okwonkwo seeing the African side ahead.

While Diego Cortes’s remarkable solo effort leveled matters, Osinachi Ebere and Victor Osimhen’s late record-equalling penalty kick however saw the Golden Eaglets into an all-African final against Mali on Sunday.
Mali had earlier in the first semi-final match come from a goal down to defeat its European opponent, Belgium, 3-1 to qualify for the final.
