Chelsea Demolish Manchester City 5-1 In FA Cup Encounter

Chelsea ran out 5-1 winners in today’s FA cup encounter and left Manchester City rue several errors.

Second choice goalkeeper Willy Caballero started in goal and his shambolic performance explained why he’s only a bit part player at the club.

Despite starting a youthful side, it was Manchester City’s older players who were ultimately to blame as they ended up on the wrong end of a proper trashing.

Pellegrini chose to go with the youth for today’s encounter, with five youngsters making their debut for the senior team.
Diego Costa scored the opening goal before David Fapaula drew City level.

The game went in deadlocked at half time and a Chelsea second half blitz was enough to blow City’s youngsters out of the park.

Demichelis and Kolarov were particularly poor in defense, with Demichelis shoving Traore to concede a penalty while City were down 4-1.

Caballero made a save from Oscar’s penalty in his only bright spot in a shambolic performance.

Chelsea are through to the Quarter finals and retain some hope of silverware this season.
