Classic Fm OAP Sylvester Ojigbede, Popularly know as SLY reported dead after an undisclosed brief illness. He anchored the Morning Show 6 to 11 am Mondays to Thursdays and The Classic X-Press 6 am – 12 noon on Saturdays.
The award winning radio personality was an Economic graduate of University of Lagos, worked in Advertising and commercial banking sector before becoming Classic Fm OAP. Survived by his wife and 2 kids.

Classic FM 97.3 deeply regret to announce the passing of one of our Presenters Sylvester Ojigbede popularly known as SLY, who was the host of the ‘Morning Show’ and Saturday morning show ‘Saturday Express’ on our station.
Sly passed away on Sunday the 3rd of May after a brief illness.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by his family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, children and extended family at this difficult time. May his soul rest in peace. He will be deeply missed by all of us.
