There was chaos, confusion and pandemonium today at the Ibrahim Babaginda square where the Peoples Democratic Party held its campaign held their campaign for their Presidential candidate, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.
Youths stoned some of the dignitaries in attendance and destroyed some of the canopies and chairs which were supposed to be used for the event.
The FCT minister, Bala Mohammed who was in attendance was hit with bottled water while he was making his speech in support of Goodluck Jonathan. Regardless, he went on to tell the crowd that the stoning was orchestrated by the opposition party.
Even as he spoke, there were chants of “sai Buhari” from the crowd.
The latest incident of stoning follows a similar event on Monday when youths pelted dignitaries with stones when the PDP and Isa Yuguda held their governorship campaign rally.
It is not immediately clear what the grievances of the youth are.
