?The Guardian U.K features Africa’s top diva Yemi Alade alongside other music stars on a feature titled “The playlist: African pop”.
The other Musicians who made the cut are former Chocolate city artist, Brymo as well as BET award winner Stonebwoy, Petite Noir and Boddhi Satva.
Yemi Alade makes the playlist with a single titled “Duro Timi” while Brymo makes the cut with his hit song “Duro”, can’t help but laugh at the nearly identical title tracks.
The winner of the MTV Base Africa’s Best Female category, Yemi Alade will be performing at the London’s Dance Afrique festival on 28 August, with headliners Akon and South African afropop/house duo Mafikizolo.
