Enjoy this interesting piece of writing…
Ororo: Oga journalist, you quick come back o, wetin happen? I never finish the work o. Sidon make I sharply change the oil filter and put new engine oil make we dey go house.
Oga journalist: I know you won’t be done. No be ororo wey I don sabi since?
Ororo: No be so o. I wan make you drop me for my junction na why I delay the work till time wey you go close. You don hear your guy, Wande Coal, new song? The guy try for the song o, but the beat no just follow at all. Make him find better producer like Donjazzy nah.
Oga Journalist: I downloaded it but I’m yet to listen to it.
Ororo: Make I play am for you. (#NP Baby Hello- Wande Coal, Produced by Maleek Berry). You no see say this beat dull this song?
Oga Journalist: Errrrmmmm, you have a point. This beat lacks those type of ‘ajasa’ Donjazzy’s beats have. But Wande did well on this song. I think the part he sang a few lines in French is nice and the “mrs idikunle” part got me laughing.
Ororo: bros, I know say you be Wande fan, but make I no lie you, e be like say wande’s career no dey go forward as we dey expect when he comot from Mo’Hits.
Oga Journalist: What do you mean?
Ororo: imagine, Wande drop video for song of February 2013 in March 2014, you wan tell me say Wande never record better song wey hit pass “my way” wey e fit shoot video for since last year February?
Oga Journalist: He’s probably saving those hit songs for his second album.
Ororo: You don dey fall my hand. Album wey e say he go drop since June 2013? See ehn, Wande gas find producer wey two of them go gel together. You no see Orezi and Kidominant? Davido and Shizzi? Na that kin thing Wande need.
Oga journalist: You may be right. I think Wande needs to take advantage of his endorsement with Glo and spread his music more.
Ororo: Na true I dey tell you. I even hear say him get songs wey e record abandon with Sarz and Del B. Na the kin producers wey him suppose dey work with be that, no be Maleek Berry.
Oga journalist: How you take sabi these ki gist? You don leave your mechanic job?
Ororo: Forget matter, na some boiz wey con service their car Agidingbi dey talk am wey I hear. Wait sef, him no fit go meet Donjazzy to produce for am and e go pay Donjazzy money?
Oga journalist: He can. But I can’t guarantee that such will happen. You know these musicians can be proud.
Ororo: I even say Wande never change him style of writing, say na still same way formula e dey use unlike them Davido and Tuface.
Oga journalist: That’s true. Wande coal keeps writing the same way, he did it in ‘The Kick’ and Rotate also. You really have a point there.
Ororo: Shebi na entertainment you dey write, you no fit interview am and tell am all these things?
Oga journalist: I’ve actually tried to do that, but his manager is always saying things like “he is not in town; we will contact you once he gets back”.
Ororo: na wa o.
Oga Journalist: If you have the opportunity to meet Wande Coal, what advice would you give him?
Ororo: Make him find better producer wey understand am die. And if he no see, make him dey pay don jazzy for beat. Him na talented black diamond nah. He no fit waste that talent o.
Ororo: Oga journalist, make we leave this Wande matter jare, you don hear Pasuma new show for London? E sweet pass all these ‘baby shake’ am wey u dey hear, make I jam am for you.
