The offer gives customers N1,000 discount on Visa card transactions at the fair, with additional special prizes for visitors to it booth
Visa, a global payments technology company is rewarding its Nigerian customers with special discounts at this year’s Social Media Week Lagos which began yesterday. According to the company, customers will be rewarded with N1,000 discount on all their purchases and transactions with their Visa cards at the five-day event which is currently taking place at The Landmark Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos.
The special which runs only during the period of the Social Media Week, between February 27 and March 3, is limited to Visa card users who make purchases and transactions at the different purchase points within the venue, including the food fair, shopping fair and the movie screening. In addition to the discount, Visa is also rewarding customers and visitors to its booth at the fair with special prizes.
“We are constantly looking for new ways to make our customers happy and satisfied, and also give value to our clientele. The offer is Visa’s way of rewarding our growing Nigerian customers as it will afford them the opportunity to make fantastic savings on all their purchases and transactions during the fair, and there is no limit to the amount of the transaction. This means that they more the transactions with their Visa card, the more savings they make,” said Ayotunde Ushie, Marketing Manager, Visa Inc. Nigeria. He said the offer has once again reiterated Visa’s commitment to offering more value for its teeming Nigerian customers, and shows how much it values its Nigerian customers.
“It is also our way of showing our commitment to encouraging cashless transactions among Nigerians, in line with the Central Bank of Nigeria’s policy to join other developed economies in operating a cashless society,” he added.
