Walter Onnoghen pleaded not guilty to six-charges levelled against him by the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT)
Onnoghen, who attended the trial after a bench warrant was issued by the Tribunal. The warrant has since been withdrawn.
Onnoghen had refused to appear before the CCT on grounds that the Court lacks jurisdiction to hear the case.
After pleading not guilty, the court was adjourned till March 11.
Onnoghen was suspended by President Buhari in January, and said the it was after he was advised to do so by the CCT.
