Tokyo Olympics: Blessing Oborududu Wins Nigeria’s Second Medal
Nigeria has recorded another victory at the Tokyo Olympics 2020, after wrestler Blessing Oborududu, won the country’s second medal.
Oborududu, won silver medal, after she lost to her opponent USA’s Tamyra Mensah-Stock in the final of the women’s freestyle 68kg on Tuesday.
The 32-year-old, becomes the first-ever Nigerian to win an Olympics medal in wrestling.
Earlier, Ese Brume won the first bronze for Nigeria in the women’s Long Jump event, thereby breaking a 13 years record.
