Thierry Henry has been suspended by Monaco three months after he was appointed as manager.
The former Arsenal striker has only managed 2 wins in the league and Monaco currently occupy the 19th position on the log.
The club have said a final decision was pending and that Franck Passi, who arrived last month to provide experienced assistance for Henry, will oversee Friday’s training session.
The Monaco job hasn’t turned out as planned for Henry, as he has been unable to curb Monaco’s free fall down the table. The emotions rose to the surface in the lead up to the Dijon game on Saturday when Henry suggested that some of the players have attitude problem.
“We need guys who want to save the club, who don’t think about themselves,” he said. Asked who would be left out at Dijon, he replied: “You will see. There are too many names.”
Matters worsen after losing 5-1 at home to Strasbourg, and an embarrassing 3-1 defeat by Ligue 2 side Metz in the French Cup on Tuesday.
The loss seems to have forced the hand of the management who have decided to suspend him, with reports suggesting ardim could make an unlikely return should Henry’s exit be confirmed.
