The Supreme Court has reaffirmed the election of Benue state Governor, Samuel Ortom.

Ortom, a member of the APC had his election challenged by the PDP candidate, Terhemen Tarzoor.

The seven-man panel of judges led by Justice Nwali Ngwuta, ruled that Tarzoor had no locus standii to challenge APC’s nomination of Ortom.

The court went ahead to award a cost of N150,000 as fine against Terhemen Tarzoor.
