Sunday Igboho’s Extradition Hearing To Hold In Beninoise Court Today
A court hearing over the extradition of Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho by the Beninoise authorities will hold on Thursday.
Sunday Igboho, is currently held by operatives of Brigade criminelle in Cotonou, Republic of Benin
Recall that the activist, was arrested on Monday night while attempting to fly to Germany with his wife, Ropo.
Further reports revealed that the court hearing, scheduled for Wednesday failed to hold; Because he was not brought to court for the hearing by the Beninoise authorities.
The hearing holds by 10am at a Beninoise Court.
According to Igboho’s spokesperson, Olayomi Koiki, the court will determine the fate of the extradition and we’ll also have the opportunity to present our case especially on the personality of Igboho.
He also said “We know the magnitude of what the Nigerian government is trying to do if they try to get hold of Igboho but they will fail, by God’s grace”.
