An Airbus A-321 en-route to St.Petersburg from the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh has reportedly crashed. Egyptian media report that 200 people were on board what has now been identified as a Russian air plane belonging to an small airliner called “Kogalymavia”.
The incident has been confirmed by the office of the Egyptian prime minister and most of the people on board were tourists.
Although rescue workers have been dispatched to the scene of the incident, it is unclear how many people survived in the accident.
