American star musician, Rihanna has broken records again. The superstar has been announced by Apple as the first female artist to cross 2 billion streams worldwide on Apple Music. This was announced on March 8, making an already special International Women’s Day that much sweeter.
The talented singer and beauty entrepreneur shared a video of African school girls dancing to DJ Spinall feat Wizkid’s music to show her excitement at the news on Instagram.
As Apple Music dropped a list of the 20 most streamed women in music for IWD via Instagram on Thursday, Rihanna reigned supreme, landing the no. 1 spot over star-studded names such as Taylor Swift (#2), Beyoncé (#3), and Adele (#5) among others.
Congratulations to Rihanna.
