Ahmad Gives, best known as “Real” from VH1’s series Real Chance of Love, passed away Friday night (Feb. 20), after a long long battle with cancer. He was just 33.
VH1 reality star “Real” (real name Ahmad Givens) who starred on “Real Chance of Love” and “I Love New York” has died after a long battle with colon cancer, confirmed by his brother Chance.
Brothers Real and Chance made up the rap duo The Stallionaires, whom we first met when they appeared as contestants on “I Love New York.” Following their reality tv stardom, Real was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in 2013. Since his diagnosis, he has kept his fans updated on his condition via Instagram as he went through chemotherapy treatments and surgeries to fight the disease. Sadly, he lost his battle.

Real’s brother Chance tells TMZ … the reality star’s condition worsened after he took a fall in January … he was bedridden ever since.
We’re told Real was having trouble with vision and speech Friday night during a family visit … and they had a feeling the end was near. He passed away hours later.
