Our woman crush this Wednesday is Bogolo Joy Kenewendo, the youngest minister in Botswana.
Bogolo Joy is a 31 years old economist and politician, born and bred in Botswana. Bogolo serves as the Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry, in the Cabinet of Botswana.
For a period of time after her postgraduate studies in the United Kingdom, she worked as a trade economist in the Ghanaian Ministry of Trade and Industry. She also served as an economic consultant at Econsult Botswana, a Gaborone-based think tank.
In 2016, the then president of Botswana, Ian Khama, nominated her to the Parliament of Botswana, where she was elected as a presidential nominee to parliament before becoming a minister in 2018. She has since been actively involved in the progress of her country. Botswana is one of the least corrupt country in Africa. Bogolo Joy Kenewendo is full if insight and is widely admired for her courageous, smart, and intelligent nature.
We celebrate a vibrant achiever, Bogolo Joy as our woman crush Wednesday.
