All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Mr. Godwin Obaseki has won the Edo State governorship election.
According to official results declared by INEC returning officers from the 18 states councils in the state, APC polled 319,483 votes while PDP had 253,173 votes.
The total number of registered votes is 1,900,223 while accredited voters were 622,039. Total number of Valid Votes cast were 582,299 while rejected votes were 30,945 and total number of votes cast was 613,244
