Chocolate City’s gospel sensation Nosa last week claimed three awards at the just concluded Yada Magazine Awards. He was awarded the Song of the Year for Always On My Mind, Music Video of the Year for Why You Love Me and the biggest award of the day as the Artist Of The Year.
He beat Sammie Okposo, Cobhams Asuquo and Kenny K’ore to the Artiste of the Year award. In the Song of the Year category, Always on My Mind trumped We Will Wait by Kenny K’ore, Yahweh by TY Bello, and Ordinary People by Cobhams Asuquo. Why You Love Me was rated video of the year, ahead of Sammie Okposo’s Who Tell You Say and Lara George’s A New Day.
This comes less than a week after he announced his one of a kind endorsement deal with Close Up toothpaste. Nosa is turning out to be arguably the biggest gospel act in Nigeria this year.
