There are various ways employers deem fit to employ but there are some things people consider extreme, just like in the case of the story shared by an entrepreneur identified as @jerrydoubles.
According to him, an employer invited six people for an interview by 7:00AM, and they got to the venue before the time. The employer told them to wait and by 3:00PM, 3 had left. By 6:00PM, he came and met only 2.
@jerrydoubles said the two got the job as they were being tested for patience.

How is that a proper interview? That was so wrong and unprofessional on all levels…

Lol, I don't think we can completely dismiss the test. The employer apparently values desperation over skill, so they ended up with exactly what they wanted

The fact you'd try and pass this is as wisdom is the most infuriating thing honestly. They're living, breathing humans – ostensibly with families.
If this employer can't respect their time he's not worth their labor. What's more: idiotic way to recruit top talent.

He employed the desperate ones not necessarily the qualified ones.
He wanted people who don't know the value of time and he got them.— De-loh Pwachom. (@teemama2810) November 24, 2019
How can you hire out of patience rather than core competences?
— Richmond (@_Rixchy) November 24, 2019
No sense of time, no respect towards the applicants. In saner climes this is abnormal but this is Nigeria.
— fred4U (@frediecruze) November 24, 2019
That's how they will owe them salary for 3 months and say they are testing their patience.
The best workplaces with the highest incentives in Nigeria won't do this, it's only the backward thinking, mushroom companies.

This is inhumane
What kind of suffering is this one? And then when they finally get the job, they will be made to work till 9pm and even weekends
Mtchewwww, all these companies that wont even pay well yet be stressing people's children— Blessed Beyond Measure (BBM) (@Drmuzoic) November 24, 2019
This is wrong on all levels available. If you have no regard for an important resource such as time, I doubt that you will regard anything. It's unprofessional to keep someone waiting a long time. Don’t let your need for a job lead you to tolerate bad behavior from interviewers.
