Solace has come for some Nigerian soldiers who were dismissed from the Army for varying degrees of offences during the counter insurgecy operation in Northern Nigeria.
Last week, the Nigerian Army set up a panel to review the cases of 4,000 dismissed soldiers as many claimed that they had not received weapons to fight the terrorists and were simply sent to the front to die.
The Punch Newspaper reports that 102 people have been reinstated into the Army after a screening panel cleared them of wrong doing and have already commenced retraining.
