There are serious indications that the Nigerian Football Federation will announce the new coach of the Super Eagles next week. The job vacancy opened up just after the NFF board gave former coach Stephen Keshi the boot.
The NFF has been in talks with former Eagles player, Sunday Oliseh and confirmed last week that they are in the process of concluding contract talks.
In the interim, Amodu Shaibu is serving as the substantive coach of the Super Eagles. Sources within the NFF have revealed that Sunday Oliseh has agreed to a wage of N5 million per week, the same salary which was offered to Stephen Keshi.
Meanwhile, former Super Eagles technical manager, Clemens Westerhof has stirred controversy by claiming that Sunday Oliseh is not the right man for the job.
