Popular artistes Mr Eazi, Yemi Alade, Timi Dakolo, Teni the Entertainer, Ric Hassani and comedian Kenny Blaq are set to perform this Sunday, 16 December 2018 at the 13th edition of The Future Awards Africa taking place at The Balmoral, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
With 100 nominees selected by the Central Working Committee this year, the awards event acknowledges their inspiring work and initiatives that have made an impact through social enterprise and creativity. It celebrates a new class of innovators, philanthropists, activists, technocrats and creators promoting the shared mission of changing the African narrative.
Some of the inspiring nominees at this year’s Awards include artistes, Burna Boy and Simi; athletes, Ahmed Musa, Wilfred Ndidi, and Thursday line Peter; actors, Adesua Etomi and Alex Ekubo; entrepreneur, Chidi Ajaere; scientist, Dr. Mahmoud Maina, and many more.
The Future Awards Africa 2018? is presented by The Future Project, Guaranty Trust Bank, and H20h.

About The Future Awards Africa
The Future Awards Africa has been called the ‘Nobel Prize for Young Africans’, and the ‘most important youth awards’ by Forbes. It is a set of prizes given annually to celebrate and accelerate innovation, creativity and enterprise amongst young Africans aged 18 – 31. It has produced over 150 winners and over 1550 nominees since its first edition in 2006.
It is presented in conjunction with The Future Project, which has a mandate to build empowered citizens across Africa, through (inclusive) enterprise and (active) citizenship.
