Meghan Markle Has Gone Into Labour, According To A Statement From Buckingham Palace

Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, has gone into labor with her first child, according to Buckingham Palace.

The palace will not confirm where, but have said her husband, Prince Harry is with her.

The baby will be the seventh in line to the British throne behind Prince Charles, Prince William and his three children and Prince Harry.
Harry and Meghan married at Windsor Castle last year’s May. The couple announced they were expecting a baby in October in Australia while on their first overseas meeting.
Their baby will become the first bi-racial child in the royal family.
Bookmakers, who had spent months taking on odds for the gender of the baby, name and date of birth suspended betting over thye weekend.
Buckingham Palace announced they would not be disclosing further information about the birth of the baby.
“Their Royal Highnesses have taken a personal decision to keep the plans around the arrival of their baby private. The Duke and Duchess look forward to sharing the exciting news with everyone once they have had an opportunity to celebrate privately as a new family,” a Palace spokesperson said.
