This year, coupled with the new addition to her family, Meghan Markle is the guest editor of Vogue’s very important September issue.
Come September, the theme of Duchess’ featured issue of the fashion Bible would be “Forces for Change,” and would be focusing on women who’ve made a difference in the world.
Some of the influential women featured on the cover photo of the edition include; Jane Fonda, Salma Hayek, Christy Turlington, Adwoa Aboah, Sinead Burke, Jameela Jamil, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Jacinda Ardern, Laverne Cox, Gemma Chan, Yara Shahidi, Greta Thunberg.
The issue also featured an interview with Michelle Obama, and Jane Goodall. According to Meghan Markle;
“These last seven months have been a rewarding process, curating and collaborating with Edward Enninful, British Vogue’s Editor-in-Chief, to take the year’s most-read fashion issue and steer its focus to the values, causes and people making impact in the world today.”
