Manchester United have eased the pressure on under fire manager, Jose Mourinho after beating Everton on Sunday at Old Trafford.
Mourinho’s blushes were saved by two Frenchmen, who combined to give United the much needed three points and avoid the sixth defeat of the season.
United came to the game on the back of the defeat to Juventus in the Champions League, which put manager, Jose Mourinho’s job in great peril.
Pogba opened the scoring from a rebound of his own saved Penalty and provided the assist for Martial’s curler four minutes later.
The world cup winner also showed the other side and much criticised part of his game when his sloppy pass got Everton back into the game.
United saw off the game, much to Mourinho’s relief who kept his cool, after last week’s “drama” at Chelsea.
