The comeback is strong and the rainmaker is enjoying every bit of it. Having wowed fans at the recently concluded Felabration 2015, Majek Fashek has dished out yet another top notch performance.
Fashek joined other reggae legends to dominate the stage at the just concluded Green Ball of the Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON) that held on Wednesday 4th of November.
Fashek, in company of Ras Kimono and Victor Essiet of The Mandators, were among those that brought the roof down with amazing performances on the night.
Majek Fashek was first on the stage with his signature red garment and bell before changing to a pair of jeans and shirt, QED reports.
He dished out his evergreen hits which include classic ‘Send down the Rain’.
Before he was joined by Ras Kimono, who upped the tempo to send the audience wild.
Victor Essiet’s verses was reminiscent of the time when Reggae ruled the Nigerian airwaves in the 80s and 90s.
In attendance were dignitaries like 2015 Lagos governorship candidate, Jimi Agbaje, Senator Florence Ita-Giwa who was the chairman of the occasion, Bisi Olatilo and COSON chairman Tony Okoroji.
The Green Ball is part of the ongoing COSON Week which shall witness the COSON Awards on Friday, November 6 at the Eko Hotel & Suits, Victoria Island, Lagos.
