LAGFERRY’s managing director, Abdoulbaq Balogun, talked on Wednesday, 3rd of March about commencement at the Badore terminal
In his words, he said;
“The terminal now has car parking, and passengers can take boat service between 6:45 a.m. and 9 a.m. on the Badore-Victoria Island-Falomo, Ikoyi route.
This administration is massively investing in water transportation by procuring world-class standard boats as well as building and rehabilitating terminals/jetties
On each trip, every passenger boarding our boats receives an instant message informing him/her that he/she is insured.” All of this is done to ensure the safety and confidence of passengers.”
Traffic congestion has worsened in recent days as a result of long lines at filling stations across Lagos.
Most commuters have had to spend more hours stuck in traffic to get from Badore to Victoria Island, which takes about 20 minutes by boat.
Balogun contended that commuting via waterways is an immediate solution to the usual traffic congestion on the Ajah-Lekki axis.
As a result, he urged road users to use water transportation to relieve congestion on the roads.
