There is a sense that Chelsea’s worst start to the season might continue later today, going by their poor record against Saturday’s opponent, Liverpool. With the Blues out of the League Cup and languishing 11 points off the top of the Premier League with only 10 games played, this is a must WIN for Josè Mourinho’s side. A lose could however put the final nail in the manager’s coffin.
New stats revealed that Mourinho’s record against new Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is nothing to write home about. Since their last meeting in the Champions League in 2012-13, when they were in charge of Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund, respectively. Klopp’s side thwart Madrid on multiple occasions, including reaching the final at the Spaniards’ expense.
Sports analysts believe this might be Mourinho’s last game at Stamfod Bridge, except a miracle happens.
