Pregnant Dutchess is breaking the rules of the Royal family, for the benefit of her unborn child.
Sources confirms that Kate is doing things her way when the royal baby arrives in July.
Here are some of the Royals rules she intends to break:
She Should Give Birth at St. Mary’s Hospital: The preferred birthplace for the future monarch is in London— too far from Kate’s parents for her liking. A palace source says Kate’s told Prince William she’d like to give birth at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading, just miles away from her parents’ home.
Her Husband Should Be Working: William has decided to leave his position as an RAF search and rescue pilot so he can be home with Kate and the baby. “It is highly unusual for a royal to be a stay-at-home dad, but William wants to be very involved in raising his children,” says a royals insider.
She Should Have an Army of Nannies: “Will and Kate have stated that they won’t have full-time nannies and will only be using them when they are doing royal engagements,” says royals expert Yvonne Yorke. Even more shocking? Kate plans to move in with her parents six weeks after the baby is born for extra help!
She Should Use Hand-Me-Downs: Kate doesn’t want her firstborn to have dusty heirlooms. In fact, Kate and her mom have been shopping for essentials like a luxury pram and a Moses basket for sleeping. “Traditionally these items would have been passed down through royal generations,” says royals expert James McCourt.
She Should Wear Long Dresses: The dutchess’ outfits are tasteful, but she isn’t afraid to show a little leg — and it’s been causing controversy in England. “The Queen would have Kate wear longer maternity skirts,” says McCourt.
