Following the death of Miss Ifedolapo Oladepo, a 2016 Batch ‘B’ (Stream I) member of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, families members and friends of the deceased have staged a protest in Osun State.
Ifedolapo died at NYSC orientation camp in Kano State on November 29 and was laid to rest in her hometown in Osun State last Thursday.
While reports made the rounds that she died as a result of negligence from camp officials, who allegedly mistook her illness for pretense to avoid going out for parade, the NYSC had on Tuesday attributed her death to an untreated renal sepsis infection.
However, the protesters on Tuesday took to the streets in Osun, vowing to continue the protest until those who allegedly failed to give adequate medical attention to the first-class graduate of Transport Management of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State, are exposed and punished.
