I Never Asked Christians To Buy Guns – Pastor Adeboye Declares

The Redeem Christian Church of God General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has on Sunday clarified what he meant by saying Christians should defend themselves from attackers.

Adeboye disclosing this during the Sunday Thanksgiving service said that “I never asked Christians to buy guns’. He then stated that “you don’t need permission to buy the jawbone of a cow”.

The General Overseer emphasized that when asked what is the “jawbone is for” in a church, he noted, you should reply “it to be used as demonstration material for children’s Sunday school’.

Recall, the cleric reacting to recent attacks on churches in Nigeria during a recent church service stated that “some jokers said churches should not open for three months. Who is your commander? God of Boko Haram, let the devil try any nonsense, from now on it is going to be fire for fire.”
