Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State on Monday relieved all his Special Advisers of their appointments except one.
The Special Assistant to the Governor on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu in a statement said that only the Special Adviser on Religious Affairs, Winston Iwo was retained.
The governor had on June 24 sacked all of the state’s commissioners.
The governor, who has less than two years into his first tenure, is yet to appoint new commissioners.
