First victim Of The Ebola Virus Has Been Cremated In Lagos
The corpse of the first victim of Ebola Virus Disease in Nigeria, Patrick Sawyer, a Liberian man who died at First consultants hospital, Obalende, Lagos on Friday, has been cremated.
This was done to stop the further spread of the disease. World Health Organisation (WHO) warns that cremation as an ideal way of disposing the bodies of persons who die during the outbreaks of highly infectious diseases called Ebola Virus in order to minimise further transmission. May his soul rest in peace.
