The London march is expected to start next to Russel Square in London at 10.30am, then proceed to the Embassy. The second assembly point will be in Trafalgar Square.
They have joined the steady stream of international support pouring in for the ‘National Shutdown’. University of London wrote a letter to express their unity with the students.
Their School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) addressed the letter to the protesting students, staff and their supporters at the Witwaterstrand University‚ the University of Cape Town‚ Stellenbosch University and Rhodes University.
The students of SOAS stated they have had similar experiences and have reclaimed their university.
Support has also come from students in countries such as Germany and Cameroon, taking to social media to express their support.
