The Federal government of Nigeria has declared June 4th & 5th as public holidays to mark the Eid-el-Fitr celebrations.
In a statement released by the statement released by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Barrister Georgina Ekeoma Ehuriah, Muslim faithfuls were urged to use the occasion of the celebration to pray for the peace, unity, prosperity and stability of the nation.
