According to Sahara Reporters, at least 18 members of the Ekiti State House of Assembly have agreed to commence investigations into allegations of grave misconduct against Governor Ayodele Fayose.
One of the legislators in Ekiti State confirmed it saying, “We are going to look at the allegations against Governor Ayodele Fayose in a responsible manner and make our decision in line with the rule of law and the overall interest of the people of the state.”
He also said, “I can assure you that this is not a case of partisan witch-hunt, We are approaching the investigation with an open mind. No conclusions can be reached without a thorough investigation.”
