Donald Trump Says He Would Beat Joe Biden In A Boxing Match
Former US President, Donald Trump has disclosed that he would like to beat up his predecessor Joe Biden in a boxing match.
He stated this during a promotional event held on Thursday for a boxing match scheduled to hold on Saturday between Evander Holyfield, 58, and Vitor Belfort, 44.
Mr. Trump, who joined the event through a phone call was asked if there was anyone heād like to face in the ring.
He said āWell if I had to pick somebody in the world, not only a professional boxer because Iāll take a pass on the professional boxers ā that can be a very dangerous subject.
āI think probably my easiest fight would be Joe Biden because I think heād go down very, very quickly.ā
The former president added that he thought āBiden would go down in the first few seconds.ā
The comments drew laughter and applause from the hosts, the boxers, and a few journalists at the Triller Fight Club event.
Trump, 75, appeared to be reacting to a threatening remark Mr. Biden made about him three years ago.
He recalled āYou know, he once said, āOh, Iād like to take him behind the barn. Heād be in big trouble if he ever did.ā
In 2018, Mr. Biden told College Democrats at the University of Miami that with Mr. Trump, heād prefer a fight to a debate.
āWhen a guy who ended up becoming our national leader said, āI can grab a woman anywhere and she likes it,āā Mr. Biden said in 2018, āthey asked me, would I like to debate this gentleman, and I said no. I said, āIf we were in high school, Iād take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him.āā
Mr. Biden was referring to the infamous Access Hollywood tape, in which Mr. Trump was recorded bragging that he could āgrab [women] by the p****ā and get away with it because he was āa star.ā
