Novak Djokovic is set to make a return to the top of the ATP rankings after Rafael Nadal withdrew from Paris Masters due to injury.
It completes an amazing turnaround for Djokovic who started the year poorly but later gained momentum while wins at Wimbledon and US. Open sent him up the ranks as Nadal struggled with injuries.
Nadal has been battling various issues which include knee and abdominal problems which ended his hopes of a win in Paris.
On the other hand, inform Djokovic has lost only twice in 34 matches and has won the last Masters Crown in Shanghai and Cincinnati. Djokovic is expected to be number one for the first time since October 2016 when the ranking is revealed on Monday.
