The court of Appeal has adjourned the eligibility case of Senator Ademola Adeleke in the September 2018 governorship election till the 2nd of May 2019.
The adjournment comes after the counsel to Senator Adeleke requested for a postponement to allow for amendments to some observations made by the second respondent over some missing pages in the processes filed which is responsible for the delay in filing his brief of argument.

In another case involving Senator Adeleke at the Court of Appeal in Abuja, Justice Jummai Sankay after hearing arguments from both parties said the appeal has been reserved and that the parties will be informed as soon as possible.
Oyetola, his party, All Progressives Congress and the Independent National Electoral Commission had filed three separate issues with the court asking the court to set aside the judgement of the Osun state election petition tribunal which declared Senator Ademola Adeleke as winner of the osun gubernatorial election.
Oyetola, through his lawyer, Wole Olanipekun pleaded with the five man panel of the Appeal Court Justices to void the judgement of the tribunal because it violated the electoral act 2010 and judicial precedence of the supreme court.
INEC argued that the findings of the tribunal were wrong because they were based on uncertified documents presented by Senator Adeleke and the PDP.
