UFC star, Conor McGregor has been arrested in Florida for “stealing” the phone of someone who tried to take his picture.
According to Police report, McGregor was arrested and charged with strong-armed robbery and criminal mischief.
The incident happened after the 30-year old was leaving the Fontainebleau Miami Beach, when a 22-year-old man attempted to take his picture. McGregor slapped the phone out of the man’s hand and then proceeded to stamp on it several times, after which he left the area with the phone.
His lawyer said “was involved in a minor altercation involving a cell phone that resulted in a call to law enforcement. Mr McGregor appreciates the response of law enforcement and pledges his full cooperation.”
McGregor who returned to the last year after losing his maiden boxing fight to Floyd Mayweather was held on a $12,000 bail.
Last year, he also pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and was forced to perform five days of community service.
