The town of Cardigan is taking the idea of Christmas spirit to another level – by changing its name to Jumper.
Southwales Eveningpost reports the town council has worked in conjunction with Save the Children to promote their annual Christmas Jumper Day today, and rather than merely joining in by wearing their festive sweaters, they’ve decided to rename the town.
Mayor Clive Davies will officially announce the change on next Thursday at Cardigan Guildhall, and the town will then be formally known as Jumper until Christmas Day.
