The president, accompanied by the Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola and army chiefs as well as the Police, arrived around 12 noon via the presidential wing of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport where he was received by the state Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.
Thereon, Buhari proceeded towards the Nigerian Naval Dockyard, Victoria Island, to commission three war ships and 27 patrol boats.
One of the war ships to be commissioned was said to be imported while the two others were built locally.
