Marvel debuted the first teaser trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever on Saturday.
The movie is a sequel to the 2018 film, which starred Chadwick Boseman as the titular superhero. In this teaser, Lupita Nyong’o’s character is the first on-screen, followed by appearances from Letitia Wright and Martin Freeman. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige debuted the first trailer for the next “Wakanda” film at a panel at San Diego Comic-Con.
It is another win for Nigerian award-winning singer, Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, as she featured on the soundtrack for Black Panther 2 trailer reportedly covers Bob Marley’s “No Woman, No Cry.”
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is in theaters on Nov. 11 and Daniel Kaluuya won’t be reprising his role in the sequel due to a scheduling conflict.
