The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)in the just concluded Presidential election has accused the Federer Government of detaining his lawyer and son-in-law, Babalele Abdullahi.
In a tweet, the former vice-president said the Buhari-led government was detaining the two men for supporting his candidacy.
“My son in law and lawyer have been detained, one for three weeks and the other recently,” he wrote.
“They are paying the price for supporting me. I urge those now persecuting them to remember that a government’s mandate is to pursue peace and justice for all, and not just those who support them.”
This comes less than two days after he also accused the Federal Government of trying to make his concede the election, after his loss.
